What
We Do.
Two ways to work with us:
1) we make something for you, or 2) we lead the people who do.
(Either way, you end up more capable than we found you.)
Project Work
Something made.
A brand identity, a website, a campaign kit. We scope it in writing before anything starts, and the proposal you receive is a fixed fee — it doesn't move unless the scope does. Specialists from our network work inside the project as one team, so you get one fee and one point of accountability.
Every project ends with the full handoff: the finished work, the source files, a written guide your team will actually open, and a working session with the people who'll use it.
for us, Done means your team can run it without us.
fractional creative direction
A Creative Lead.
You have people who can make things — a designer, a producer, somebody great on social. What's missing is the senior person who decides what's worth making, keeps it pointed at the strategy, and says "not yet" when the work isn't there.
That's Justin: creative direction without the full-time hire. A standing rhythm of planning and review, real feedback early enough to matter, standards your team can hold when he's not in the room, and the systems that make consistency structural.
No account layer, no team swap-outs. Just Justin.
how it runs
no mysteries. ever.
01
a conversation
Thirty minutes on what you're trying to do and whether we're the right team. If we're not, we'll say so.
02
a proposal
Scope, timeline, and a fixed fee. All in writing, all in plain language.
03
a signed scope
Nothing begins without one. It protects your budget as much as our calendar.
04
the work
Structured reviews at every phase, your approval at every milestone. No black boxes, no big reveals you didn't see coming.
05
the handoff
Finished work, source files, documentation, and a working session with your team.

Every engagement is scoped to the work in front of us and quoted as a fixed fee, in writing, before anything starts. The number doesn't move unless the scope does. Bring the project to a call and you'll leave knowing what it would run.
-
We price by scope and timeline. Projects run 50/25/25: 50% to start, 25% at concept approval, 25% on delivery—so you won’t pay far in advance. Invoices are net 30. Monthly prepaid for fractional direction, billed as contract or retainer.

Justin leads every engagement. The direction and the quality bar are his, personally. Around him is a vetted network of creators: art directors, designers, motion artists, editors, producers, writers, photographers. Each project gets exactly the specialists it calls for, working as one JSG team. No junior staffing, no account layer.
-
Templates, source files, style rules, review habits, and documentation are the practical pieces that let your team keep making on-brand work after the launch moment passes. A brand project doesn't end with a logo file. It ends with your team making things with it correctly, quickly, and on their own.
-
Most run four to twelve weeks. Your proposal includes a real schedule that is shared with you and referenced often. We only invoice when phases actually finish.
-
Houston is home, but the work travels. We run remote and hybrid engagements, serving clients as far away as North Carolina. (That’s very far from Houston if you’re heading west.)
-
Start smaller. A paid discovery gets you focused time with Justin on one problem and a written plan you keep either way. Plenty of clients use it as the brief for the full project.
-
You run the work. That's the point. Some clients keep us around for ongoing production, or fractional direction when they want Justin steering. But that's a choice, never a necessity.
